TriColour Beanie
Warm and comfy beanie or slouchy with a bit of an unusual tri-colour pattern for interest and a ribbed brim for snug fit.
Pattern is written using American crochet terms and includes directions for two sizes, both intended for women. S/M: 51cm/20in circumference for teens/ smaller heads or for a snug fit on an average size head; M/L: 56cm/22in circumference for larger heads or a more relaxed fit. There are also instructions for making a slouchy. (You could of course experiment with a finer yarn for a kid size beanie.)
Pattern includes lots of photos and has been tested for errors and clarity.
I used DROPS Big Merino, a worsted 100% merino superwash yarn; one skein of the main colour and half a skein each of the two contrast colours. You can use any worsted weight yarn as long as it is soft and has good elasticity.
