The Trifecta Baby Blanket is a collection of 3 worsted weight baby blankets, designed for knitters who prefer to have options.

The blanket is knit seamlessly, using worsted weight yarn in a grid of 3x4, 4x5 and 5x6 squares, surrounded by garter stitch borders on all sides.

The garter stitch borders are knit along with the blanket, so there is no finishing required (other than weaving in ends, and blocking).

Finished size is approximately 24” x 30”.

Materials include 600 yds worsted weight yarn, size 5 and size 7 circular needles (24-32” length).

Circular needles are required to accommodate the width of the blanket.


Recommended gauge is 4.5 stitches = 1” in stockinette stitch, using the larger needles.

Change needle size as necessary, to achieve correct gauge and/or a fabric that you like.
Since this is a blanket, exact gauge is not critical. It will, however, affect the finished size and amount of yarn used.

Pattern includes clearly written instructions.
Skills required include casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off.
