The “Trifle the easy one” is called so because it is really easier to knit than its predecessor.
What should you be able to do? Knit and purl stitches and how to work short rows.
The two versions differ in the details, version 1 plays with the transparency of mohair in the two halves, one side single thread knitted on the other side double thread knitted.

Version 1 – 220 cm / 87 ‘’ x 10 cm / 4 ‘’ at the beginning and 95 cm 37’’ in the middle
Version 2 – 220 cm / 87’’ x 12 cm / 4 ‘’ at the beginning and 80 cm 35’’ in the middle
GAUGE
21 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 inch with needle size 3.5 mm / US 5 in stockinette stitch after block-ing.
