Triforce Fade Shawl
Pricing update: I have increased my prices to more accurately represent the work that has gone into the making of my patterns. All my patterns have increased in prices, however my newer designs have increased more than my old ones, as I feel I have learned a lot over the years and the quality of my newer designs is higher. The price listed reflects what I believe is fair for the work put into the design, however I understand that the price increases may be inaccessible to some and am offering some tiered discounts for those that need them.
A “Choose What You Pay” model is available for this pattern, allowing both financial accessibility and fair pricing. The buyer may pay what they are able while still valuing the hard work invested to create this design. Use the codes below in order to pay the price listed after each. Choose whichever price works best for you!
- No Code – Full Price = $10.00 CAD
- PK10 – 10% off = $9.00 CAD
- PK20 – 20% off = $8.00 CAD
- PK30 – 30% off = $7.00 CAD
I also offer a Buy 3, Get 1 Free discount! Add any 4 of my patterns to your cart, and use the code BUY3GET1 to get the 4th pattern free! Note: the free pattern will be the lowest priced pattern.
This pattern is for a beautiful shawl with eyelet detailing around the edges and on the three corners. I chose to make mine a fade with three different complimentary skeins, but you could customize yours and make it solid, or use more or less colours for the fade. It has detailed eyelet instructions, and will tell you where to start your fade sections based on doing a three colour fade like mine. If you choose to make it solid, ignore the fade instructions, and if you choose to use a different number of colours for the fade, you will need to adjust the fade sections.
Size: ~65 inches wingspan, ~38 inches in depth
Needles required: 3.25 mm with a 40-60 inch cord
may need other size needles to meet gauge
Gauge: 25 sts = 4 inches x 46 rows = 4 inches (unblocked)
Yarn required: any fingering weight yarn ( I used some OOAK skeins at 437 yds/100g)
Yardage required: 3 skeins (~1300 yards)
yardage is an approximation at this point, and is based on the size listed above. I wanted to use up my skeins fully so I based my size on that. You could go a little smaller if your skein yardage is a bit less. Allow for extra/less yardage if choosing to modify the size
