Everyone loves a fade, right? The Triforium Shawl is the perfect way to show off your fade. In this season of yarn crawls and fiber festivals, a 3-color shawl is a great project to shop for at different stores/booths.

I love a good triangle shawl. Symmetrical, asymmetrical, bigger, smaller…doesn’t matter. It’s one of my favorites to wear.

The Triforium Shawl is a simple stitch pattern, mixing it up a bit when you’re fading into the next color, but it really lets the yarn shine through. And there’s just something magical about that center spine post stitch.

My dark and moody sample was made with Suburban Stitcher yarn in the colors Melancholy, Heavy Metal and Oslo. The pink sample pictured is also Suburban Stitcher yarn in Recoleta, Rosedal and Tango. I love not only the contrast between dark & moody and bright & cheery, but the difference in fading dark to light vs. light to dark. I tend to put my lightest color first, which in this shape sits right next to my face…and I’m pretty pale, LOL. So I really like having the darker color right up next to my skin.
