Did you know of the plant that has 3 leaves coming from the stem? It’s called Trillium, a plant with a solitary three-petalled flower above a whorl of three leaves. They are native to Asia and North America. So one of these days I was walking in the garden and saw just 3 leaves kind of plants around but no flower with it. Isn’t the same flower (obviously!) and more like weeds but reminded me of it so I decided to use this name for this pattern!

Is a set of a placemat and coaster so 2 sizes available but if do more rnd repeats or less and paying attention to the increases then is completely possible to make different size.

The gauge is 9rnds of sc = 3” in diameter if you want to meet gauge with 3.5mm but is not that mandatory. Yarn is 100% cotton. if you use different yarn and hook size will very as well.
You can make it as decorative piece.
