This stylish pair of slippers is knitted using a combination of textured stitch and stockinette. They can be worked on either DPNs or using the magic loop method for the toe section. The magic loop method is preferable due to the stitches crossing straight in the middle of the front part.
Knitting begins with the heel flap worked back and forth. After turning the heel, the sole section is knitted, and stitches are cast on for the toe section. The foot length is easily adjustable. For a good fit, the slippers should be knitted with negative length ease 1 cm/⅜ inches, which is included in the pattern instructions.
