This is a .pdf crochet pattern, written in standard American crochet terms for Trin the mouse. With is easy pattern, you can make an ever so adventures crochet mouse with fun accessories, a stick and a backpack filled with acorns.

Size of finished mouse made with worsted weight yarn: 6.5 inch / 16.5 cm tall.

The crochet pattern contains
An intro with useful info. List of materials, tools and accessories needed. Brand and colour numbers of the needed yarn. A clear and colour coded description of how to crochet and assemble the animal. Pictures and illustrations to help getting everything right. All my patterns are text edited for correct English and have been tested by an experienced crocheter before publishing.

Materials
For this mouse you’ll need worsted weight yarn and an E US/3.5 mm crochet hook. Colours: dark grey (mouse), light grey (tail and part of boots), dark green, grey green and mustard (shirt, boots and acorns), dark brown (rucksack), brown (stick and nut), beige (nut) and apple green (leaf and acorn). From each colour one skein is more than enough. You will also need fibrefill and pipe cleaners. For the eyes I’ve used 10 mm animal safety eyes. Lopi colour numbers: 0058, 0057, 1407, 9421, 9264, 0867, 0053, 1419 and 1406.

Yarn
Istex Lett lopi. I strongly recommend using a fuzzy yarn because it gives the best result.

Gauge is unimportant for this pattern. If the pieces are crocheted tightly enough, they will not gape visibly when stuffed. You can make a little test swap to be sure.
