200 metres worsted weight wool
Sample knit with Briggs and Little Heritage 100% wool

1 pair of very strong needles size 3.5mm
1 pair of very strong needles size 4.5mm
Metal needles are preferred. Less strong may break
1 sharp darning needle

GAUGE
8 sts = 2” (5 cm) in stocking stitch using 4.5mm needles.
