The Trinity Lace Beanie is designed to be worn as a traditional toque—it’s long enough to wear slouched back or folded up, and has a little more volume than the Columnar Jointing beanie.

Materials:
About 150-210 yards of Malabrigo Yarn Rios, or similar yarn
1 16” circular needle in US7-8/4.5-5.0mm, or size needed for gauge
1 set of DPNs in size needed for gauge
4 removable stitch markers/yarn scraps
Tapestry needle

Gauge:
Gauge is 18 sts and 30 rows over 4”/10cm of blocked stockinette. Please be sure to check your gauge, and adjust needle size as necessary.

Size, Measurements, and Ease:
This hat pattern is written for three sizes, in a range to fit most adults.
Small is intended for head circumferences up to 22.5”/57cm. Flat, it’s 9”/23cm tall by 8”/20cm wide.
Medium is intended to fit 22.5”-23.5”/57-59cm. Flat, it’s 9.5”/24cm tall by 8.8/22cm wide.
Large is intended to fit 23”-24”/58-60cm. Flat, it’s 9.8”/25cm tall by 9.1”/23cm wide.
