Trintara is all about easy, cozy, beautiful knitting warmth. Knit in Madelinetosh Pashmina Worsted (just a bit of silk and cashmere mixed in for the Super Soft factor), the simple modified rib brim transitions gracefully into a cable fabric stitch to add depth and dimensionality to the main body of the hat without being too fussy, difficult, or busy.

I do not recommend a traditional blocking for this finished knit. This is due to the yarn selected and the desire to avoid flattening the cabled texture. If you are knitting this hat with a standard wool or other yarn that may benefit from blocking, please first knit and block a swatch to make sure you obtain a suitable gauge and generally like the results.
