Trio of Ice Cream
This pattern will show you how to make three fabulous flavours of ice cream in a cone (chocolate, strawberry and mint). Also comes with a wrapper template to print and make!
Made with Scheepjes Catona (but you can use any yarn), just keep in mind they may come out different sizes..
This pattern is written in both UK & US crochet terms (you will get both).
Designed in the amigurumi style and worked in a continuous spiral.
It is a very clear pattern with lots of photographs.
Skill level: Intermediate.
Size: 13cm tall approx when using a 2.5mm hook & 4-ply cotton yarn.
To make this Ice Cream you will need:
Scheepjes Catona, 4 ply, 100% cotton, 10g / 25g balls, (or other 4ply cotton yarn). You’ll need 25g for the cones (Topaz) and 10g of all other colours to make one of each ice cream. Colours:
179 Topaz
162 Black Coffee (or 507 Chocolate)
110 Old Lace
408 Old Rose
115 Hot Red (or 516 Candy Apple or 390 Poppy Rose)
392 Lime Juice
503 Hazelnut
101 Candlelight
2.5mm (US C/2) crochet hook.
Polyester toy stuffing
Stitch markers
