Lightweight fingerless gloves, made for my mother-in-law for Christmas. Easy stitching (ch, sc, dc), fun pattern, and doesn’t use a lot of yarn. 1 skein was way more than enough!

To add a thumb, reattach yarn with sl st at inside (next to fingers) edge of thumb opening. ch 4 across opening and sc on other side of 3 dcs in glove above thumb opening.
ch-3, skip 3 dc, sc in ch-1 sp, repeat around thumb opening.
3 dc in each ch-3 or ch-4 sp, ch 1, repeat around thumb opening
sc in each dc or ch-1 sp around thumb; sl st to join and finish off.
