Triple Cable Knit Scarf
Scarf pattern with 2 simple side cables and a more intricate center cable pattern.
Finished measurements – 8½ inches by 94 inches after blocking. The length of the scarf can be altered by adding or omitting one or more repeats of rows 21 through 68. Each repeat is 6¾ inches in length if knitting to recommended gauge.
4 balls (1.75oz/50gr ea) Berroco Summer Silk (approx. 240 yds/220m each) or any other DK weight yarn. I had 28 grams of yarn left after a 649 row scarf, so there is enough left over to add fringe or a couple more repeats of rows 21-69.
Gauge = 28 stitches and 28 rows/4” across middle cable pattern (chart stitches 14-41) after blocking. I used size 7 needles. Gauge is not crucial, but a change in gauge will affect the finished size and the amount of yarn needed.
