The elongated stitches on the brim highlight the gorgeousness of the yarn and create a dramatic effect. Knit in a contrasting color, the underside of the double brim peeks through when stretched/worn for an added bonus!

Materials needed:

Super bulky/size 6 yarn in two contrasting colors—approximately 92 yards total (roughly 27 yards of Color A and 65 yards of Color B)

US 13 (9 mm) 16” circular knitting needles

US 15 (10 mm) 16” circular knitting needles

US 15 (10 mm) Double Pointed Needles (DPNs) or US 15 (10 mm) circular knitting needles with a longer cord for Magic Loop Method

Stitch marker

Scissors

Tapestry needle

Pom pom maker or faux fur pom, if desired
