The three M’s stand for “Malabrigo Multi(color) May”! The Ravelry Group called Malabrigo Junkies held a small event in the month of May 2016 to showcase Malabrigo’s amazing multicolored yarns. This event inspired me to create a 1-skein pattern using my beloved base: Twist in colorway Plena. I loved this skein but could never quite find something to make with it!

I swatched several stitches which seemed likely to work well with a highly variegated yarn, but this one not only played well with the colors, it also makes the puffiest, most cozy texture on both sides of the fabric and I knew right away it needed to be around my neck. Problem solved!
