However this can be used to make a smaller or bigger strip to make a hair band, a belt or sash, guitar strap or a bag strap. it could also be used for a border around the edge of a garment.

Note that this motif is knitted sideways. It is charted to take the knit proportion into account i.e. stitches are wider than they are tall.
