Gauge is not important for this scarf. The pattern is for super bulky yarn, but it can be made with any weight. You will just need to adjust the number of double crochet rows to get the width that you want (and increase initial number of chains to get the length you want, too).

I made this after I had made 6 sets of hats and scarves for my family and wanted something different. I hope you enjoy it!
