Another design inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. By the end of the play, Oberon and Titania make amends and things begin to fall into their natural order. The lovers reunite, Bottom is re-transformed, and everybody troops back to Athens. As they leave the stage to prepare for Theseus’ wedding, Oberon leads Titania off stage to compass the globe “swifter than the wandering moon.” This sock pattern also trips and follows with a twisting lace pattern and an off set cable that swings back and forth.

Skill Level: Intermediate-- This sock involves both cable and lace work and a complicated sock pattern.
