Description

This is a fun, small shoulder bag with a Triskelion pattern on it. When I made this, I put the Triskelion on both the front and back face of the purse, but it could be worked only on one side if desired instead.

Details

  • The pattern uses mainly single crochet stitches to focus on the Triskelion pattern but also uses the half double crochet and cross over half double crochet stitches.
  • Only one size that measures 2 inches deep, 6 inches in height, and 7 inches wide is included but the pattern could likely be adapted to other sizes if you wanted a bigger bag.
  • I used a 4.25 mm hook size which is a size smaller than the yarn recommended to get really tight switches to make a solid bag.
  • The pattern calls for ~300 yards of grey and ~200 yards of green both of Merino Wool. Other colors could easily be used.
  • The pattern links to instructions to line the bag which hides the reverse side of the bag which can be messy if you carry the green as I did plus adds a nice finish.
