Triskelion Trivet

The Triskelion Trivet covers the rubber rings used on glass wire-clamp canning jars to create a heat-proof trivet for your table. The rings are woven together to form a triskelion pattern and can use either solid or ombre colors to enhance the Celtic look.
Stitches required are single crochet and slip stitches - that’s it!
This quick project is a great way to use up leftover quantities of worsted or Aran weight yarns.
A few folks have asked where to find the rubber rings. I bought mine at my local hardware store, which may be a good place to start. If I locate an online source, I’ll post it here.
