This pattern is designed to use a minimal amount of yarn. The official size is for a 3-9 month old baby. The baby in the picture is 4 months old, but with a large head for a baby of that age. There are instructions on how to alter the size of the hat if desired. This pattern has been beta tested. Enjoy!

There are two downloads available for this pattern. Both are written exactly the same, but the one labeled as having large text is made with larger lettering in hopes of helping the visually impaired.
