The Trivial scarf can be made in either DK or 4ply yarn - the pattern and hook remain the same but produce different results. Using DK will make a warmer sturdier scarf where 4 ply will make a lighter, drapier version. Trivial is designed to be worn with the V at the front of the body.

Finished sizes are (after blocking):
DK - 50in/127cm in width and 21.5in/54.5cm deep
4ply - 48in/122cm in width and 18in/45.5cm deep

You need 200g/590m of DK yarn or 100g/425m of 4ply yarn (perfect 1 skein project!)

You will use front and back post stitches and in sections work only in the front or back loop of stitches - there are no other special stitches to learn for this project.

The yarns used to create the pattern were Stylecraft special DK in Graphite and a hand dyed skein of 4 ply.
