2 Cable needle of same size
Gauge
19 sts and 26 rows = 10 cm (4 inch) in Stockinette stitch, after blocking
Abbreviations
dpn = Double pointed needle
K = Knit
k-wise = as if to knit
LH = Left-hand
P = Purl
p-wise = as if to purl
Rem = Remaining
RH = Right-hand
sl (slip) = Slip 1 stitch purlwise with yarn at back.
ssk (slip, slip, knit) = Sl 1 k-wise, sl1 p-wise, insert the LH needle from the front into the slipped stitches and knit them together through the back loop.
wyf = With yarn in front
2/1/2 LPC = Slip next 2 stitches to cable needle and place at front of work, slip next stitch to second cable needle and place at back of work, k2, p1 from back cable needle, then k2 from front cable needle.
2/1/2 RPC = Slip next 3 stitches to cable needle and place at back of work, k2, slip left-most stitch from cable needle to LH needle, move cable needle with remaining stitches to front of work, p1 from LH needle, then k2 from cable needle.
2/1 LPC = Slip next 2 stitches to cable needle and place at front of work, p1, then k2 from cable needle.
