The pattern is recommended for Intermediate Level. It is written in U.S. terms.

Most of the project is made working in continuous rounds with
a small portion worked flat. The troll measures approx. 7” tall. These measurements are when Worsted Weight Yarn (4) and a 3.5 mm hook are used. Any weight yarn and correlating hook size could be substituted as long as all the colors of yarn are the same weight.

The pattern is 11 pages long and includes several pictures.

Materials Required:

Worsted Weight (4) Yarn in the following amounts:

Skin Tone (1.5 oz)
Jacket, main color (.5 oz)
Crown, trim color (.3 oz)

For the skin, I used Crafter’s Secret in the color Lt. Taupe.
For the jacket, I used Red Heart in the color Med. Thyme
For the crown & trim, I used Red Heart with Love in the color Daffodil

Two 4” x 2” pieces of faux fur
Optional: small gems 1cm & smaller
