Trouble bubble beanie
Welcome to my Trouble bubble beanie. I have always loved playing the board game Trouble. This beanie reminds me of the bubble the dice goes in. This beanie is knit in the round from the bottom up. It has a double brim that will keep you super cozy. It is knit with super bulky weight yarn. Examples are malabrigo Rasta, baah mammoth, lion brand wool ease thick and quick, hometown, home spun or any size 6 weight yarn. There will be video tutorials on how to do the double brim. I used malabrigo Rasta in Matisse blue and used 87 yards/145 grams. Make sure to weigh your skeins before starting. If using two colors and switching after attaching the brim I used 60 yards for the brim and 30 yards for the body. You can also make the brim smaller if you’d like which will save some yardage. After attaching the double brim the body of beanie has a fun ribbed pattern.
I hope you enjoy this pattern and love to knit these up! I’d love to see your creations so please tag me @defiknitlytasteful and use #troublebubblebeanie
