Trout Fishy
This pattern was orginally designed in Crystal Palace Yarns Mochi Plus, which is discontinued. You can use a solid, variegated or self-striping Aran weight wool or wool blend to make.
Level: Intermediate
Size: Fish’s body measures 10.5” long, excluding lips and tail and 5” wide, excluding fins.
Materials:
1 - 50g ball of Aran weight wool or wool blend
6 or 8” double-pointed needles in US size 7
Dark and light scrap yarn (for eyeballs, if embroidering)
2 buttons (if using button eyes)
Yarn needle
Polyester fiberfill or other appropriate stuffing material
Embroidered eyes are recommended for children under 3 years of age.
Fish body is worked in rounds. Fins are worked in rows.
Some construction required to finish.
