Note: There is a typo on page 2, where it gives instructions: ***

Note: Before beginning gusset, redistribute needles stitches so you have 13 stitches on needle 1 (heel), 26 stitches on needle 2 (instep) and 13 on needle 3 (heel).

This has been updated in a new upload of the pattern to my website, so the one you click on will be correct. Here on Ravelry, if two versions show up, the one on the right will be correct. Sorry!

These socks are heavy-weight socks made with two strands of fingering or sock-weight yarn held double. The result is a marled effect, like Ragg socks. Contrasting stripes in the cuff, heel, and toe create a complementary visual touch.

Easy to knit for the beginning sock knitter, and a quick knit for anyone needing warm socks in a short period of time. Size is for a men’s medium, but size may be adjusted by the knitter by adding or subtracting stitches, and increasing or decreasing cuff and foot lengths.
