This neck warm is designed to serve several functions:
When is it mild, it will keep you warm without adding too much bulk
If it is really cold, wear it under your jack with a larger scarf over top to keep the wind and snow off your neck
Wear it high to protect your chin and ears from the cold; you can even wear a hat over top for an extra layer of warmth
The bottom of the warmer scoops down the back and the chest, keeping those areas warm that are often missed with other scarves and cowls.
The Trua is worked mainly flat with the edges finished with an attached i-cord on one side and a seed stitch border (worked in the round) on the other. The pattern is worked in stripes of two rows, with the slipped stitches creating beautiful variation. The wrong side also looks very interesting, so the warmer can be folded down.
