Truchas Peak
by Ann Weaver
This shawl was initially designed for the 2014 Miss Babs Armchair Traveling Knitting Tour and is now available to everyone!
The scarf was designed for our trip to Santa Fe.
Ann Says: “Named for the highest point in the Santa Fe Mountains, Truchas Peak was designed to showcase the colors and geometry of Santa Fe, New Mex- ico. The peaks of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains rise just outside the city, which is filled with clean lines and angles distinct to adobe architecture and Native American design. Tru- chas Peak is a nod to both the urban visual culture of the city and the surrounding landscape.”
