The True Colours Peacock Cushion was designed for the Simply Knitting Magazine issue 181 which went on sale on the 21st of December 2018.

I love peacocks, they are so beautiful and their tails shimmer so with so many rich colours. this peacock knows he’s magnificent and he is looking back at his tail. The reverse of the cushion is a stripey, envelope affair with pompoms used as buttons to hold the cushion closed.

The cushion front is worked in intarsia that is worked from a chart.

The cushion edging is ready made jumbo pompom edging in royal blue to compliment the colours of the peacock.

The peacock cushion fits a 46cm square cushion insert, so it’s a good sized cushion, prefect for a soft furnishing feature piece.

The cushion is made in Hayfield Bonus DK yarns, Rainforest (668), Royal (979), Sunflower (978), Azure (824), White (961) and Black.
