What fun it was to make this top. I fell in love with the texture of this red Mollydale Knits yarn and it inspired me to use it for the statements made at the edges. I also wanted to have some fun with larger needles.
The textured yarn is combined with a neutral but rich, dark chocolate colored highland wool. The needles used for this pattern are larger than the suggested size for each yarn…but this is what gives this design its flowing feel when finished.
A very comfortable piece to have.
