Trug Shawl is an asymmetric triangular shawl knit in Dimond Laine Downy Fingering. Like the shallow basket it’s named after, this shawl features alternating bands of stockinette stitch and basket weave. The basket weave pattern is created with purl and knit stitches for a fun and engaging texture play.

CONSTRUCTION
Shawl is CO and worked flat increasing on one side edge of every RS row to form an asymmetric triangle. The wingspan of the shawl is measured along the increase edge of the shawl. Basket weave sections are both charted and written.
