The cardigan is knitted seamlessly from the top down. Start with the saddle shoulders, then work back and front separately, until you reach the underarm. Sleeves are worked from the top-down, seamless, and the cap is shaped with short-rows. Charts and written explanations are provided for the cable pattern.

If you are going to substitute the suggested yarn make sure that the yardage is similar to the one stated in the pattern and that you get gauge, to end up with a garment with a fit similar to the pictured sample.
