The perfect quick-knit hat! We’ve written it for three weights of yarn, for ultimate flexibility, and included directions to make the size that fits you best! Ribbed toques also make great gifts as their stretchiness allows them to fit a variety of heads. We bet you can’t make just one…

FINISHED SIZE
The pattern is written for one size, but directions are given to adjust the width and depth of the toque.

Our toques have a 10 cm (4”) folded brim resulting in a finished depth of approx. 21.5 cm (8.5”) and width of approx. 19 cm (7.5”); measured laying flat and unstretched, after blocking.

The pattern is designed with approx. 10 cm (4”) of negative ease, due to the stretchiness of ribbed fabric. If you prefer less negative ease, work more increase rows (as described in pattern notes).
