GAUGE
18 stitches and 30 rounds = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette & Charted Stitch Pattern from Chart C; worked in the round on gauge needles, after blocking.
NEEDLES*
- US Size 6 / 4 mm circular needle, (or one size smaller than the gauge needle) 16” / 40 cm length for the neckband AND 24 - 40” / 60-100 cm length (depending on the size you’ve chosen) for the hem ribbing.
- US Size 7 / 4.5 mm circular needle, (or size needed to obtain gauge) 24 - 40” / 60-100 cm length (depending on the size you’ve chosen) for the sweater yoke and body. Double pointed needles of the same sizes suitable for small circumference knitting for the sleeves or use a long needle and the Magic Loop Method. Always choose the needle size that you need in order to obtain the pattern’s gauge.
