Tube scarf Turtle neck
Hals / Tube scarf / turtle neck
You need:
Scissors
5mm hook
100grams of medium yarn
(Used Picasso urban jungle)
Needle
Optional;
Round Counter
Mask marker
Start with making a chain of 30, leave a long thread for sewing together at the end of making the neck
We are making a rib pattern neck, i Find it the most comfortable and it fits most sizes
Hdc, start in 2 mask from the hook.
Turn work at the end of each round.
This is now the first round complete.
2- 42 round ;
Hdc in the back loop, this will make the rib effect
Dont cut the yarn!
Sew together into a tube, use the thread we started with to sew with a needle and turn inside out to hide the seam.
Continue with the loop that still is on the hook, make 60 single Crochet stitches around the neck, we are now making a smooth seam line before creating the front flap. When round is complete;
Front flap;
Make 30 hdc, turn work
Make 17 rows
This is the front flap. Cut yarn off and weave/sew in the thread
Back flap;
Make a Slipknot and tie around the second stitch in the back and make a loop to secure it. Remember to go from right to left.
Make
26 hdc, leaving 2 stitches on the left side open
Make 7 rows
Cut off yarn, sew in loose threads
