Tuberose Mitts
This pattern was born whilst playing with the placement of a simple twisted stitch pattern in a hazy afternoon. I discovered that slightly staggering the motifs instead of stacking them straight, led to some eye-pleasing results.
All of a sudden, I remembered Tuberose - the waxy tube shaped florets which bloom in delightful bunches. Its fragrance is described as dense, rich, powerful, summery and a multitude of other nuances. Later I found that Tuberose is described in a poem as “pure as the dream of a child.” I decided to stick to the name as it had come to me the same way, as if from a dream. :)
I have included my little sketch of the Tuberose flower as the last picture. Scroll down to enjoy. :)

Tuberose Mitts is a sister pattern to my cowl design by the same name - TUBEROSE COWL.
Tuberose mitts is essentially a 1X1ribbed mitt pattern with an interesting twisted stitch panel on the back of the hand. It is a fairly quick knit as it uses DK weight yarn and the stitch repeat is pretty straightforward.
