Tubular Potholder
From the book: “This potholder exploits a method of knitting tubes on single-point needles in a double layer, called tubular knitting. Staring with a closed bottom and ending with a closed top eliminates the need to sew seams.”
Other supplies: a third needle of the same size for three-needle bind off, yarn needle
Optional: 7” square of flameproof, melt-proof insulation
