Tucker the Tortoise
Tucker the tortoise loves basking in the sunshine and slowly exploring the garden - he speeds up if he spots a dandelion! He is 7.5 inches by 5 inches (when made with the recommended materials). You can make your Tucker crawling or sitting up – the pieces are the same but you will need to sew them on in different positions; instructions for both are included.
The 8 page pattern is intermediate skill level and is available in US and UK terminology – both versions will be available for you to download. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly. There are also picture instructions for colour change and back loop only.
The following stitches/techniques are used in this pattern:
US Terminology - slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, double crochet, increase, decrease (sc2tog), colour change, back loop only
UK Terminology - slip stitch, magic ring, double crochet, treble, increase, decrease (dc2tog), colour change, back loop only
