While I was experimenting with this stitch pattern, it reminded me of quilting. The earwarmer will fit just about any head size, but can be adjusted easily. A hat using the same stitch pattern is listed separately.

The main stitch pattern used is called a ‘Tuck’ stitch, but is also known as a Coin, Bubble, or Blister stitch.

I live in the Midwest – it gets reaaaaally cold (and windy) in the winter, and I don’t wear hats, but I do wear these – they work well when I’m shoveling those elebentybillion inches of snow that descends upon us from time to time.

My mom taught me, among many other things, the love of creating - I hope you enjoy making these
as much as I did!
