The cable in this pattern reminded me of the diamond-shaped mullioned windows in Tudor-era palaces in England, like Hampton Court and Greenwich. This round-neck, raglan-sleeved cardigan has the button bands integrated as you work the body; therefore, there’s no finishing aside from weaving ends and attaching buttons.

US #5/3.75mm circular needle, 32 inches or longer (larger sizes may prefer a longer needle).
Set of US #5/3.75mm double pointed needles or preferred method for small circumference knitting in the round.

1/2” to 5/8” buttons – wait until garment is complete to ensure proper size and number (sample shows 8, but it will depend on your length)

Gauge: 20 stitches/28 rows per 4” in stockinette stitch, worked flat, on larger needles. Ensure you use a correct needle size to make gauge in the round as well.

You’ll note in the photos that my model, Jade of Space Cadet, wears it backwards. As this doesn’t have specific bust shaping, you can, and it looks just as cute!
