Tuepfel Zipfelmuetze
Mama, can you make me a “Zipfelmuetze?” like the one Kasperl has or the boy named Christmas? Or Nils Holgerson? Or Ebenezer Scroog´s nightcap?
Haha! Yes of course I could - and LOVE how the dotted tail looks so perfectly funny and how the huge Pom dances up and down with every step my boys go taking through the woods so happily!
This is a one-size-fits-all pattern for Kids aged 4/5 to 10/12 years.
The brim is perfectly elastic, so it will stay on a smaller sized child´s head just as it does stay on my own Mama´s sized one!
Yarn options: DK or worsted weight
needle size: 3mm
gauge: 22 stitches x 33 rows = 10cm x 10cm
You´ll need 2 colours:
around 115g/210m of colour 1 (white)
around 100g/190m of colour 2 ( colour)
Knits up easily!!
All you need to know is how to knit with a DPNS!
Everything else- including how to make that squishy Pom - is explained with photos, charts and text in the patterm.
