A long and skinny triangular shawl, worked in a fun reversible cable pattern. It’s one-by-one ribbing, essentially, but the cables bring a clever and interesting honeycomb effect.

Never done reversible cables? Now’s your chance! Wanting to try cabling without a cable needle? This would be a super project.

Suitable for knitters confident with increasing, decreasing and reading charts.

Knit until it’s the size you want!

As shown, it’s worked in a DK weight. In a chunkier yarn, this is a quick knit and a good way to use up a smaller quantity – sweater leftovers, perhaps? In a finer yarn – a skein of something too good for socks, maybe? – this would be a great all-season accessory, a nice accent with a light jacket.
