The name Tulia means Gracious gift.

The Tulia Blanket is a beginner friendly lace pattern which is easily memorised. Although this blanket looks complicated, it is not a hard pattern to work, and certainly keeps your interest whilst knitting. The pattern is written out in full, row by row.

Skill level : intermediate

YARN
The Blanket was knitted in ‘fiddlesticks – PEPPIN 8’ 8ply, 100% Australian Fine Merino Wool, (Colour 806) superwash which is a beautifully soft yarn - 880 metres / 960 yards. This blanket would also work well if knitted up in a cotton.

NEEDLES REQUIRED
4 mm (US 6 : UK 8) 61 cm (24 in) circular needles, or extra-long straight needles.

OTHER MATERIALS
8 x 50 g balls - each 50 gram ball measures 110 m / 120 yds.
Stitch markers
Darning needle to sew in the ends.

TENSION
22 sts / 30 rows worked on 4 mm (US 6 : UK 8) in stocking st.

NOTE: Blanket will need to be blocked to the above finished measurements.
