Tulip Ankle Socks
These simple little anklets were designed as a gift for my Mom. One of her favorite things is handknit socks, so what could be better than a pair designed just for her? I focused on elements that would appeal to her: thick yarn for maximum cushy comfort and subtle feminine details like the scalloped ankle and decorative ties.
The Tulip Anklets are worked from the cuff down. A simple crocheted chain adorns the ankle of the sock. This tie is simply for decoration as it does not encircle the circumference of the ankle. If crochet isn’t your cup of tea then you might consider replacing the chain with a narrow ribbon, braided yarn, suede lacing, or small i-cord.
