Tulip Container
This is a super simple and fun pattern for a Tulip Container. It is a
fun crochet project, and it is functional. You can use it to keep little
things and jewellery.
Notes:
This pattern uses US terminology
Skill Level - Advanced Beginner
This pattern is worked in continuous rounds.
Square brackets indicate the pattern and the number of
times it is repeated.
Round brackets ( ) indicate the number of stitches you
should have after each round/row.
Try to yarn under instead of yarn over for a neater finish
Materials:
Yarn – Weight-3 acrylic yarn in three colors
One for the base - approx. 20gms
One for the flowers
A shade of green for the stems
Hook – 3.5 mm hook
Scissors
Stitch Marker or yarn of contrasting color
You can use this pattern with any type of yarn with the
recommended hook size.
Abbreviations:
mr – magic ring
st – stitch
ch – chain
sc - single crochet
inc – increase (2 stitches into the same space)
dc – double crochet
sl st – slip stitch
ch-1 sp - chain 1 space
* Special Stitches:
v-st - V stitch - Work 1 dc st, 1 ch, and 1 more dc st in the same
chain or space.
pc - popcorn stitch - Work 5 dc, drop loop from hook, insert hook
from front to back through top of first st made, place dropped
loop on hook and pull through st.
