Yarn: you need between 130 meters (142 yards) and 200 meters (218 yards) of yarn.
I crocheted 3 versions:

  • With front post stitches (green/pink): 50 grams (1,76 oz) / 200 meters (218 yards) Hobbii Dahlia, color Melody Harmony (04)
  • Without front post stitches (white): 40 grams (1,41 oz) / 182 meters (198 yards) Scheepjes Whirlette, color Ice (860).
  • Without front post stitches (orange): 23 grams (0,81 oz) / 129 meters (141 yards) Scheepjes Maxi Sweet Treat, color  Tangerine (281). Hook: depending on the yarn you are using. I have used hook 2,5mm for the green/pink version and white version, and hook 1,25mm for the orange version. Hoop: depending on the size of your mandala. My versions were:
  • White: 50 cm (20 inch)
  • Green/pink: 40 cm (16 inch)
