‘Tulip Garden‘ is a triangular shawl knitted in a lace weight yarn.
A pretty floral pattern frames an easy garter stitch body.

This shawl is knitted from the top down starting with garter stitch tab. From there garter stitch body is worked flat with increases on either side of centre stitch and on both edges on every RS row to get triangular shape. Wide lace border is knitted after and finished off with i-cord edge.
It is shown in Triskelion Olwen Lace, and only 1 skein is needed to complete the project.
The pattern is written and charted.
The size can be adjusted, instructions are given.

This pattern is fairly easy and it is suited for knitters who have some experience with lace knitting.
’Tulip Garden’ will also look lovely in heavier yarn such as sock weight or even sport. When substituting make sure you have enough yarn.
