This pattern uses approx. 30 grams of the main color and then about 15 grams each of 4 additional colors. Make sure that the colors have good contrast so that you can see the stitch pattern definition. You can work the hat up using any method you choose for knitting in the round. The sample was worked on a 16 inch needle and ended on double points. This pattern is suitable for all knitting levels.
